Experience To Discover Ha Giang - The Flower Place On Stone

Ha Giang is a province in the Northeastern region, about 320km from Hanoi. It is a place at the headland of the Fatherland with a majestic and wild beauty because of the combination of rocks and flowers as if it brings people to a completely new land, a land that will surely fall in love.

Transport

Coach and motorbike
  • I travel by coach from Hanoi at 8:00 pm (you can refer to many coach company such as Bang Phan, Quang Nghi, Ngoc Son, Ngoc Cuong, ...), ticket prices range from 250.000 – 350.000 / person
  • 4 am to Ha Giang city, I rested at the homestay for 2 hours, then got up for breakfast and rented a motorbike to start the journey to visit Ha Giang.


Places not to be missed when coming to Ha Giang

  • Co Tien Mountain
  • Tham Ma Slope: It is one of the famous roads everyone wishes to go through, even once in the journey to discover the distant Dong Van rocky plateau.
  • Vuong Palace
  • Pao's house
  • Lung Cu flagpole: The sacred imprint at the head of the country, is about 1470 meters above sea level
  • Ma Pi Leng: One of the four great mountain passes of Vietnam, located on the National Highway 4C in the area of Lai Lung and Pa Vi communes, Meo Vac district
  • Nho Que River: the lifeline of Ha Giang land
  • M-shaped Road: The M-shaped road is a winding road stretching from Yen Minh to Meo Vac. Looking down from above, this soft road is like a strip of silk that someone accidentally left at the foot of the mountain.

Where to stop and rest when coming to Ha Giang:

  • You can refer to 2 homestays: Moc May Homestay (122 Ly Thuong Kiet, Ha Giang), Trieu Nghi homestay (Group 4, Dong Van, Ha Giang)
  • Note that you should book a room first if you go in high season.
  • The homeowners are all very friendly and enthusiastic!

What to eat in Ha Giang?

  • Thang Co
  • Black Chicken Hotspot: The main ingredient is black chicken, a famous chicken of the Mong, served with highland specialty vegetables such as kale, beef khai ... in the cold weather of Dong Van rocky plateau, it is all right always!
  • Tam Giac Mach Cake
  • Thang Den: like floating cake. But it has its taste that only Ha Giang has
  • Egg-roll cake
  • Five colored sticky rice
  • Au ta porridge
