Nam Du - Beautiful Island In Kien Giang

First I will briefly share about how to move there:

- I travel by speedboat departing from Phu Quoc, every day there is 1 trip from Phu Quoc - Nam Du and back. Superdong is at 7 pm Phu Quoc-Nam Du, 15:00 Nam du-Phu Quoc. Instead of going back during the day, I choose to stay one night on the island to feel and have time to explore more. (500.000 VND / round trip). It takes 1 hour and 30 minutes to move from Phu Quoc - Nam Du.

Accommodation

I chose the Humiso area to be an overnight stopover, many of you take pretty pictures here on Instagram. Room rate for 4 people, bungalow with toilet inside: 600.000 / night. This area has many virtual living corners.

Disadvantage: the room is quite old, the blankets and pillows are not very clean, the toilet door in my room is broken.

Advantages: enthusiastic staff, close to the sea, so we can watch the dawn. (East side) The area is spacious and beautiful.

Explore Nam Du

Day 1:

• I rent a motorbike 200k / day with gas, there are very few gas stations here, so everyone should rent a car including gas, rent at motels to be guaranteed. Nam Du is also quite small, the total area of the island is about 5km.
• Just arrived in Nam Du on the first day, I checked in, went to Soi beach in the afternoon, and watched the sunset running along the road to Men Beach. The feeling I cried out was that the scenery was so peaceful, the scenery was wild and beautiful, but I could not find in Phu Quoc the mountain-winding coastal road. The cliffs have a prominent yellow color due to the formation of lava rocky soil.
• Since there is not enough time, I spend time on Men beach and other places the next day before I get on the boat to go home.

Day 2:

• After filling your stomach with breakfast, sardines bread is served at the resort. We go to Men beach, Ngu beach, Doc An Tinh, lighthouses, and Nhum beach.
• I also stopped by Ngu beach before going to An Tinh slope, Ngu beach is a place of worshiping Ong fish. Originally, Ong fish was revered by the people of the coastal area, because the main job of the people here was to go fishing in the sea, not avoiding the weather difficulties. And when in trouble he was the one who came and saved. They also worship him partly to pray for good rain and wind before going out to sea.

Conclusion

• Nam Du is really beautiful, beautiful in a wild, untapped style for tourism. I'm also an islander going to the island, but I like Nam Du.
• Many of you say Nam Du has nothing, nothing beautiful, but I feel very fond of it, maybe I prefer such a wild style over full service and concrete.
• The prices here are also quite expensive, equivalent to Phu Quoc. Fresh seafood, vegetables is extremely rare
• Eat well, at night you should go to the port, the seafood stalls are very crowded like a night market.

Hopefully, after my sharing, everyone can choose Nam Du as a stopover for a short trip. But the cost is not too high.
